Can I use any waste with my butler sink?
The answer
No. The outlet hole has a particular diameter, and an overflow, if present, needs a compatible connection, so a mismatch is a common cause of leaks. Check the sink's specification for the waste size, and ask the seller to confirm in writing that the waste you choose is suitable for the exact model. Choose the tap and waste together with the sink, and check that the trap and pipework will fit inside the cabinet.
