Butler sink

A butler sink is a deep, rectangular kitchen sink with a single large bowl, traditionally made of glazed ceramic. Its depth suits washing large pots, roasting tins and trays, and many have a thick front face that stands in line with the cabinet doors. Modern versions come in several materials and layouts, so the name describes a shape, not a standard size: always check the maker's specification for the exact dimensions, weight and fitting requirements of the model you like.
