Single bowl

A single bowl is a sink layout with one large basin and no divider. It gives the most room for big items such as roasting tins, large saucepans and oven trays, and it is simple to clean, with one waste and no dividing wall to scrub around. It offers no separate space for rinsing, so you may need a washing-up bowl or a rack. It is often the most useful layout when a dishwasher handles most crockery.
