Wall-mounted tap
A wall-mounted tap is a tap that comes out of the wall above the sink instead of from the sink or worktop. It keeps surfaces clear, makes cleaning easier and suits sinks with no tap holes, but the pipework must be planned before the wall is finished and tiled, and its position fixes the tap's height and reach, so measure carefully. Discuss the plan with a qualified plumber before work begins. See also: Tap hole, Spout reach, Monobloc tap.
