Cut-out template

A cut-out template is a pattern or drawing, supplied by the maker, showing the size and shape of the opening needed in a worktop or cabinet. Following it closely avoids costly mistakes when fitting inset or undermount sinks, because a cut that is too large cannot be undone. Ask for the template or installation guide before you buy and share it with your installer, who will check the dimensions on site before cutting anything.
